Albrecht von Eisenhart-Rothe has been advising his clients on commercial and corporate law for 25 years. He assists companies of all sizes and industries in the USA, the UK, Japan and Germany. He is equally passionate in representing medium-sized companies and their shareholders as well as family businesses. He specialises in reorganisation, restructuring and the turnaround of companies and corporations.

His focus is in particular on mergers and acquisitions (M&A). For many years, family-run companies have relied on his legal expertise in the area of succession. Albrecht von Eisenhart-Rothe assists the entrepreneur as a strategic and legal advisor. He provides advice in every phase, starting with the idea, choice of legal form and formation, to ongoing support and the IPO or sale.

Albrecht von Eisenhart-Rothe has been a partner at SWM Rechtsanwälte since May 2018. Before then, he was a partner of the Frankfurt law firm AGS Acker Schmalz Rechtsanwälte, to which he and several partners had moved in 2013. Prior to that, he was part of the team of the law firm Schmalz Rechtsanwälte in Frankfurt/Main, which he had co-founded in 2002. He began his professional career in the law firm Taylor Wessing, where he became an equity partner in 1996. He is married, has two children and lives in Frankfurt/Main.
