Caline Sand has been advising small and medium-sized companies on commercial and corporate law for about 20 years, as a lawyer in the context of individual engagements and also as an in-house lawyer directly from within the companies. She specialises in contract drafting and employment law, negotiates with works councils, obtains opinions from specialist departments and external consultants and works in a crucial role with the management levels in the company. Caline Sand has advised on several business transfers, company sales, restructuring and other corporate reorganisations. She assesses the risks of the respective measures and advises on strategic issues. She is also experienced in distribution law and the drafting of customer contracts.

Caline Sand has further expertise in the field of media law, in particular drafting agency contracts (e.g. media agencies, full-service agencies and more), as well as negotiating terms and conditions.

She also focuses her activity on private and commercial tenancy law. She supports clients in particular in the drafting, review and amendment of rental agreements, as well as in the enforcement and defense of actions for eviction. Before joining SWM Rechtsanwälte in 2013, Caline Sand worked for several years as an in-house lawyer for ARI Fleet, a company specialised in fleet management. At the beginning of her career, she worked for a law firm and a large insurance company in New York.
